Rubbish Management at Wedge
Rubbish generated at Wedge from commercial fishing operations, recreational shack owners and visitors such as campers, beach fishers and tourists, has been managed onsite via two facilities:
- Domestic Rubbish Tip (putrescibles)
- Scrap Metal Dump (Large metal items and building material)
This approach has been normal practice followed by isolated town sites, in rural communities and on farms.
